The History of Papa Rocco's Awards and Recognition
In the mid 1980's, Bill McGinnes bought a stilted building a block from the beach in Gulf Shores, cut 10' off of each piling and turned what had been an all-you-can-eat buffet into and oyster and pizza restaurant. Over the years, we have been honored to be recognized by many local, state and national organizations.  Ever since the inception of the Peoples Choice Awards, we have been rewarded by our customers and friends with many "Best of" awards.
